Hi! Thank you for playing Disaster Diner!
We are Pix and Taiste, a Dutch-Finnish-US-Ukranian cooperation of developers and designers, who love creating unique and friendly experiences. We’ve had a blast creating Disaster Diner and Tiny Wilds, and we hope you enjoy it too!
This is Blake Charvoz, our project manager. He had extra memory installed as a kid. If he doesn’t know something, no-one does! His real name is David. But don’t call him that, he hates it! Right, David?
Ida Silaste illustrated all the characters in the game, and the ingredients in the entire cookbook. The game wouldn’t exist without her artistic touch. She’s the one who put dinosaurs in a lazy river and gnomes in the gym. If it was up to her, there would be about a thousand more levels in the game, easily! Her creativity knows no bounds.
Sami Sorvali is our designer. He put every pixel in its place, and made sure the game looks and feels just right. Somehow, he figured out how to squeeze a game into a smartwatch screen! When he is not designing, he is probably hanging out with Pepper and Boof in the skatepark, doing kickflips.
Mathijs Lagerberg is our developer. He wrote the cookbook, wrote all the puns, and then coded the entire game from start to finish (with some U-turns inbetween). If there is a bug, blame him! Unless the bug is an ingredient, that can happen. Mewrice and Catarina in the Bored Meeting level are named after his cats.
We don’t know how Artem Svystun snuck in here. He should be on the website for the Tiny Wilds game, but somehow ended up here! Must be a… bug! Artem is the rock star developer who coded the Tiny Wilds game.
